I can't begin to tell you how impacting it is to see suffering in the magnitude of Haiti, or the Sudan or the native Americans on reservations. The abject poverty, the suffering and the courage under extreme poverty changes you...Forever. So many of us think "what can we do?" the needs are too great. I challenge all of us....to just be there.
To just care....in whatever capacity you can.
Pray, a song, a moment of love....some money......some clothes.....some food......pick up a hammer......pay a visit.....hold a baby orphaned in your arms.

It's summer in the Rockies and the heat is on! While we have the luxury of cold water and Air Conditioning...the precious orphans in the Sudan and the children on the reservations have the unrelenting heat and contaminated water to contend with...This year has been horrible for support and donations and I grow desperate in my heart to know what to do. Where are the like minded people to help us? My husband was out of work for almost 2 years and I have not been able to work because of my own health issues and battles....I am willing to keep trying but the funds are not...
